THIS February The Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS) in partnership with Screen Illawarra South East, will be bringing its hugely popular one-day course Screenwriting Part One to Robertson and Wollongong.

This one day course is an introduction to the art of screenwriting and provides students with the essential skills to construct and deconstruct film story lines.

Professional playwright and screenwriting lecturer, Dr Carl Caulfield, uses clips and scripts from well-known classic and modern era films - from Citizen Kane, to Slumdog Millionaire and The King's Speech to guide participants through the processes and tools used to tell a compelling story.
