A $6 million tree top walk overlooking the Illawarra escarpment near Robertson is expected to attract 200,000 visitors a year when it opens in 2007.

The State Government has cleared the way for the Illawarra Fly at Knights Hill.

It is expected to be the biggest walk of its kind in NSW.

The 600-metre walk will be elevated 25 metres above the ground, offering views from the rainforest to the Pacific Ocean.
