Start a business in the Highlands?

But for my staff, who are fantastic, I would move my business today.

To attract busnesses you need a council that cares and understands its community.

Our councillors are completely lacking in these departments. As for the employees, the less said the better.

I have been asked what this area is like. My answer is that this council that can treats an autistic child and a family in need with disdain, so how do you think they would treat a start-up business?

That's enough to put any one off.

Goulburn council on the other hand ... fresh air change employees?

I think Dave only sees what he wants to see. What a whinger!

Visionary, I believe you are what my granddaughter calls a shill; or is it shrill?

Most likely from WSC.

Either way your statement is completely inane.

And who did you vote for at the last council election, Bert?

Did YOU do your homework before voting?

Will YOU give us the opportunity to vote YOU in so that YOU can work with 8 other councillors, many with totally different views and aspirations, and give us the benefit of YOUR wisdom?

Or will you continue writing inane comments with your mate?

No such noun in my Microsoft thesaurus as 'shill'. Intriguing!

And, no, I am not on WSC Staff or an elected councillor, but I am an informed elector.

A shill, plant or stooge is a person who helps a person or organization without disclosing that he or she has a close relationship with that person or organization.

Taken from Wikipedia. Google it Visionary.

No, I will not stand for council as I am far too old.

As for your absurd statement as being an informed elector, refer back to the definition of shill.

Also an elector is only as informed as to the extent which a candidate allows. Even then the candidates promises can only be judged after they are elected.

If they do not perform as they stated, then chuck the buggers out.

Now go play kid.
