Sightings of strange lights in the night sky were reported in the Southern Highlands as well as the South Coast this week.
Following a report in the Southern Highland News on Wednesday about mysterious lights over Nowra at the weekend, Willow Vale resident Chris Roode contacted the paper.
Nowra residents saw lights travelling west towards the Southern Highlands on Saturday night.
Chris reported seeing a single bright orange light travelling across the sky at about 9.20pm on the same night.
“It was flying at about the same level that a helicopter might fly,” Ms Roode said.
“I thought, ‘that doesn’t look like a plane’, because planes usually have two lights flashing, not one.”
She said the light did not remain on a straight path.
“As I started to walk further up my backyard, the light slowed, turned and then came towards me."
