St Vincent de Paul celebrated 125 years of giving this week.
The society has been operating in the Southern Highlands for over 15 years, providing the community with an array of inexpensive items including clothing, furniture, bedding, shoes and books.
Volunteer Mary Delaney has been with the Bowral store since its opening nearly 15 years ago.
"Helping people puts a smile on my face as well as others," she said.
