A Bowral man has been released from hospital after he suffered an electrical shock during the windstorm.
A Bowral Hospital spokesperson said the man got the shock when he turned on his outdoor tap not knowing power lines had fallen down on the ground near his home, making the area alive.
The man was treated for minor injuries and released the same day.
Meanwhile, four elderly residents have also been released from the hospital after their oxygen cylinder breathing apparatus failed due to the power shortages in their homes.
The four patients were kept at the hospital for the day for observation before being released the same day.
