Emergency crews, police divers and SES volunteers are continuing the search for a 49-year-old Brundee man, feared dead after a canoeing accident at Tallowa Dam near Kangaroo Valley on Sunday morning.
A 47-year-old Bomaderry woman died in the accident, NSW South Coast police say.
Police said campers at Tallowa Dam, near Kangaroo Valley, found the woman’s body in the water about 6am on Sunday morning.
Police retrieved the body on Monday night after several hours, and also found an upturned orange Canadian three-seater canoe nearby.
