Robertson residents have added their voices to protests over the proposed sale of Wingecarribee Shire Council land to pay for a leisure centre and improve parks.
About 40 people attended a hearing on the proposed land sale at the Robertson School of Arts Hall on Thursday night.
Seven speakers objected to the proposed sale of part of Hamden Park in Robertson and one of the sale of the unusual rural fire shed in Kirkland Road, Kangaloon.
Council proposes to sell two lots from Hamden Park as one residential lot.
But Robertson Environment Protection Society (REPS) member David Tranter called on council to withdraw the land from sale and confirm its status as recreational land.
