With the warmer weather upon us and the desire to return to the garden, I find it most unsatisfying that the resource recovery centre closes at 3pm on a weekend.

I would assume that the weekend is when most shire residents utilise it, particularly the green waste section.

After the resource centre's leisurely start to the day at 10am, gardeners are forced to work through the hottest part of the day and sit and reflect on their half-completed tasks after 3pm.

Council repeatedly reports dumped illegal rubbish. Perhaps it's because the resource recovery centre is not open at convenient consumer times.

Due to the inconvenient opening hours of the resource recovery centre at the weekend, I now have to take my green waste to the centre with only my toddler to assist me.
