It will be held again this year over the weekend of October 31 to November 16.
Until April 27, members of the public can vote for their local arts community project to win the People's Choice Cultural Award.
President of the Shires Association Cr Bruce Miller said that communities across NSW were vying for the prestigious gong.
"Votes for the award are calculated as a percentage of each council population," he said.
"It means that smaller councils have as much chance to win as larger ones. Fifty local councils have submitted awards.
