Punk to peace for Bowral’s Birdman

27 Jul, 2007 10:30 AM
It's a long way from the rock 'n' roll world in Bowral, but guitarist Chris Masuak makes it work. His band Radio Birdman was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame last week.

Mr Musuak has called Bowral home for six years and is a naturopath and massage therapist at Equilibrium on Bong Bong Street. He juggles his natural therapies work with international touring after Radio Birdman reformed last year.

Radio Birdman was a seminal punk band in the late 70s, who reformed last year.

The band went to the ARIA Hall of Fame ceremony in Melbourne straight from the airport, following a tour of the US and Canada where they clocked up 13,000 kilometres on the tour bus.
