Bowral's oldest pub will call last drinks this Sunday, with the closure of the Port O' Call.
Built in 1866, the hotel has been a Southern Highlands landmark since it opened as Chalker's Hotel, under the ownership of prominent local entrepreneur, landowner and businessman William Chalker.
The hotel later became the Imperial hotel, catering to the demands of the area's population as it steadily grew.
Almost 17 years ago Steve Lenaduzzi and Micheal Richardson re-launched it as the "Port O' Call hotel" and restaurant.
But with the current lease on the hotel and restaurant expiring this Sunday and possible redevelopment of the site in the air, the business partners have decided it's time to move on.
