Home burgled
INVESTIGATIONS are under way after unknown offender/s broke into a Bowral residence and stole a number of items while the resident was asleep. Police said electronic items were taken from the Stephens Place home some time between midnight and 8am on January 18.

High range DUI
A 27-YEAR-OLD man will appear in Moss Vale Local Court in March facing a high range drink driving charge. The Moss Vale man was stopped about 1am on January 19 on Berrima Road in Moss Vale. Police said the man recorded a blood-alcohol level more than three times higher than the legal limit. He will face court on March 5.

161km/h on Hume
A SYDNEY man was immediately suspended from driving when he was stopped by Mittagong Highway Patrol on the Hume Highway at Mittagong about midnight on January 20. Police said the man was recorded traveling 161km/h in a 90km/h speed zone.

50km/h over limit
AN ACT man was fined $1915 and immediately suspended from driving in NSW for six months after he was stopped on the Hume Highway at Mittagong on January 22. Police said the 22-year-old was recorded at 50km/h faster than the legal speed limit just after 9.30am.
