Four people were charged with possession of prohibited drugs, thought to be cannabis.
Another two people were charged with using offensive language in a public place.
About 12 people were searched by police and moved on from the area.
Duty Officer Danks said the large crowd from the Moss Vale Show was one of the main reasons for the operation.
"A high-visibility operation was held in the Moss Vale and Bowral CBD area because of the increase in activity after the show," he said.
