Three researchers from the organisation will be holding an open lecture/discussion which will consist of a blend of clinical and practical information.
This is quite a unique event because the experts come from a variety of fields including Professor Kay Double, a world leader in Parkinson's research.
Also attending are an expert in the genetics of this disease; and a physiotherapist (providing practical advice).
Well-known Bowral local, Marg Webb, will also be attending.
Ms Webb's husband passed away from Parkinson's and she now runs the local PD support group.
She is also on the cover of our latest annual report because both her and her husband agreed to donate their brains to science.
The presentation is being held at Annesley Bowral, 11 Aitken Rd from 10am on May 30. RSVP is essential by May 28, by calling 1300 888 019 or visiting neura.edu.au/rsv, or emailing rsvp@neura.edu.au.
