Tourism Southern Highlands (TSH) has been unsuccessful in its latest attempt to gain approval for 'Southern Highlands' signage at the entrance to the shire.
Executive manager of TSH Steve Rosa appeared before the Tourism NSW Tourist Attraction Signposting Committee on Wednesday to argue the case for Southern Highlands signage over the required Wingecarribee signage.
Previously, TSH was denied approval from the RTA to erect new council-funded welcome signs near road entrances into the shire because their rules only allow identification by the name of local government areas.
