Highlands revellers Mel Hancock and Emma Feld started their New Year’s Eve celebrations at Bowral, before making their way to Moss Vale Services Club and finishing up at the Sutton Forest Inn to watch the midnight fireworks.
Southern Highlands residents were applauded for their behaviour after ushering in the New Year on Saturday night at the region's pubs and clubs.

About 400 people saw in the New Year at Mittagong RSL Club according to duty manager Darryl Birse.
Sutton Forest Inn manager Tina Cotton said the venue's six-minute fireworks show had been the highlight of the night.
Moss Vale Services Club duty manager Kevin Whalan said he was delighted by the numbers of people choosing to celebrate the new year at the club.
Grand Bar and Brasserie owner John Griggs said the Bowral establishment had large numbers in its brasserie, but a quiet night at the bar.
