WINGECARRIBEE Council is unveiling its new Driver Reviver Community Trailer on Friday from 11am at Alexandra Park, Mittagong.
The trailer comes fully equipped with fridge, urn and large serving areas and is easy to transport and operate.
Road Safety officer Melanie Lausz said that volunteers have had to operate the Driver Reviver sites in substandard conditions in the past.
This might be in the middle of winter working from tents, with serving areas exposed to the weather, serving teas to travellers to the snow, she said.
"Driver Reviver is a valuable community initiative supported by volunteers to assist in helping motorists 'Stop Revive and Survive'," she said.
The Community Trailer will also be available for free use by not-for-profit organisations at fundraising and community events.
The council, along with Veolia Mullwaree Trust and the Roads and Maritime Services, funded the purchase and fit out of the new trailer. Their representatives, along with those from the RFS, SES, and police will attend the launch.
