Chamber president Geoff Hosey is calling for members' ideas on how the $3000 profit from the recent ball should be used.

"We need comments not just from five, six or seven members," he said. "We want everyone to have a say.

"Hopefully, we can come up with some project where we can see a result from the money raised."

Although the money was earmarked for projects to beautify Moss Vale's shopping area, members at Monday's Chamber meeting raised suggestions including a marketing and promotion strategy or website presence.

Possibilities for beautifying the main street include flagpoles for banners near the town clock, a bulletin board and lights in Leighton Park.
