Children's laughter was music to the ears of the Moscow Circus when the show opened at the Moss Vale Showground on Wednesday.
"Just listening to the applause and squeals from children makes me happy," general manager Greg Hall said.
"The audience is our best judge."
More than 890 circus goers proved that acrobat and deft defying acts were certainly not a dying art.
For seven-year-old Claudia Muller the circus was something she would definitely go and see again.
"It was great fun," Claudia said.
"The best bit was 'who let the dogs out' because I like the song and the dogs.
"But the clowns were funny and the acrobats were very clever, especially the little ones."
