Two small earthquakes have hit NSW in the past week – but it appears no-one felt them.
A tremor, measuring 2.5, occurred 15km from Mittagong on Saturday afternoon.
A quake measuring 3.2 on the Richter scale shook a remote area near Cobar in central NSW last Sunday, August 12.
The Mittagong quake was too small to cause damage while the Cobar incident could have caused minor damage had there been any buildings around, Kevin McCue of the Australian Seismological Centre said.
