An elderly man who disappeared from Mittagong on Friday afternoon has been found alive on a bush track in Mittagong yesterday.
Tomislav Vasic, a 70-year-old Bexley resident, went missing in Mittagong at around 2.30pm on Friday when he went into town to post a letter.
He was found early Sunday morning in bushland 3km off Sunset Point Drive by a local resident walking along the bush track.
Local volunteer rescue crews were called in to retrieve Mr Vasic from the bush trail and he was taken to Bowral Hospital by ambulance with mild hypothermia. Mr Vasic was reunited with his daughter at Bowral Hospital yesterday.
Mr Vasic's rescue came after an intensive two-day search operation by police and local search crews.
