Lions and MAD Youth join forces

29 Mar, 2006 07:14 AM
Representatives from Bowral Lions Club met with members of the MAD Youth committee on Monday as part of a new partnership between the organisations.

"We were approached by the Lions Club, which indicated it would like to hold a barbecue to help us raise funds for this year's granting round of youth projects," WCF youth philanthropy officer Lucy Butler said.

"It is fantastic to have the Lions Club involved in our work. We have been working really hard to develop relationships between the committee and other community organisations."

The MAD Youth committee is a joint initiative of the Berrima District Credit Union and the Wingecarribee Community Foundation.
