New council regulations will add as much as $10,000 to a block of land on the Southern Highlands.
Developer Rex Child has warned council developer contribution rates will increase the price of land in Wingecarribee Shire.
Mr Child said new rates would add $140,000 to the cost of developing his 18-lot subdivision at Berrima Road, Moss Vale.
Mr Child said although his development application was approved in mid 2006, he was still required to pay contributions at the new rates, which came into force on January 1, 2007.
