Member for Hume and endorsed Liberal candidate Alby Schultz has condemned Labor's plan to cut funding to certain independent schools that service people in the Hume electorate.
"Labor is punishing the people that have climbed the ladder of opportunity that Mr Latham constantly refers to, these people have worked hard, made sacrifices to send their children to these schools and if Labor wins the election they will be denied funding from their own taxes to support their children's education." Mr Schultz said.
