'Jobs, Jobs, Jobs'

26 Jul, 2006 07:30 AM
Moss Vale's proposed inland port means "jobs, jobs, jobs" for the Southern Highlands, Southern Highlands Business Chamber (SHBC) president Terry Oakes-Ash said this week.

Mr Oakes-Ash has worked closely with Wingecarribee Shire Council's economic development officer Carl Pemberton and council's economic development committee on the inland port proposal.

The push to establish a Southern Highlands Intermodal and Logistics Hub at the Wingecarribee enterprise zone between Moss Vale and Berrima moved up a step last week with a signing of a Memorandum of Understanding committing the Port Kembla Port Corporation and Wingecarribee Shire Council to working co-operatively to develop the region.
