More Japanese visitors could soon be exploring the Southern Highlands as part of self-drive tours from Sydney to Illawarra and the local region.
Tourism Japan director Tad Teramoto toured the Southern Highlands this week to discover what the area has to offer Japanese visitors.
Mr Teramoto is visiting NSW to familiarise himself with the Grand Pacific Drive and connecting routes to Sydney and the Southern Highlands.
