Wingecarribee Shire Council will ask the community how the Bowral Country Golf Club course should be used before making a decision on the long-term future of the site.
At an extraordinary meeting on Wednesday, council voted to seek to maintain the existing lease if an administrator is appointed to operate the Country Golf Club and Bowral RSL Ltd.
If the administrator does not adopt the existing lease, council would offer a short-term lease with Ground Force Pty Ltd to maintain and operate the golf course.
