The Robertson Show went off with a bang on the weekend, ending with a 15-minute fireworks display on Saturday night to delight the 5000-strong crowd.
The crowd was undaunted by thick fog during the day on Saturday and light drizzle at night.
Robertson Show Society president Rosemary Turner said at times the fog was so thick people sitting in stands could not see what was happening in the centre of the ring.
"Despite the thick fog, people were coming through in a steady stream all day," she said.
She said watching the pyrotechnic display through the fog was a variation on the usual showers of stars.
Another popular attraction was the Picton Show representatives who came to give a poultry demonstration, something Robertson has not featured for 40 years.
Mrs Turner said they were thinking about introducing it next year as it had been so popular.
Pavilion chief steward Trish Pemberton said the number of entries was down on last year, but said the less crowded displays and high quality contributed to a stunning overall show.
"The preserves are of a very high standard and judges who have previously judged at the Sydney Royal Easter Show say that the standard here is as good.
"The school work is very colourful and looks wonderful. It's incredible what the children come up with," she said.
