Baking one day, freezing the next: That has been the theme of summer 2007/08, according to figures released by the Bureau of Meteorology (BOM).
The mean temperature this month so far has been 23.7 degrees in Bowral, and only slightly warmer in Moss Vale at 24.5 degrees.
The figure is nearly three degrees Celsius lower than the statistics of January 2007.
