Member for Goulburn Pru Goward says she is very disappointed with the way Bowral and District Hospital has dealt with the recent cancer cluster scare.
Unconfirmed TV news reports at the weekend said eight women, believed to be nursing staff had been diagnosed with breast cancer recently.
Ms Goward said there had been no effort from hospital management to talk to female staff and she is calling on Bowral Hospital to deal with the situation correctly and compassionately.
"I understand that the first requirement would be to at least communicate with the staff as these are conditions where people can get very scared," Ms Goward said.
