Hospital children’s ward development sizzling along

EVERYTHING’S GROOVY, MAN: BDCU staff at Moss Vale went back to the ‘60s on Thursday to raise money for a BDCU Children’s Foundation campaign to equip and furnish the new children’s ward at Bowral Hospital. Dressed in the style of the swinging ‘60s (inspired by interest rates at their lowest since 1964), the staff were hard to miss as they served up sausages and home-made lemonade outside the Clarence Street office. The sangers were definitely a hit, with one shopper asking the cooks - Debbie Dankworth, Jane Lawrence,Ross Webb and Brooke Poulos - to “reserve” her a sausage sandwich until she had time to come back and grab it.
