Horsepower fuels roaring show success

18 Mar, 2008 04:17 PM
Horsepower, not horses, was the focus of the final day of the Moss Vale Show yesterday.

The Beaut Ute competition and demolition derby took over the centre ring for the finale fo the three-day show.

Member for Goulburn Pru Goward judged about 50 of the best, loudest and most feral utes from the Southern Highlands and further afield.

The demolition derby capped off a successful show, with highlights including the return of show jumping after the equine influenza, plenty of rides and stalls for the kids, the 80th anniversary of the show pavilion, and the official opening by singer James Blundell.
