Holden's billion dollar baby welcomed to Highlands

It may have cost Holden more than $1 billion to develop, but the latest range of Commodores could be yours for less than $35,000.

The Holden Commodore VE series was unveiled last week at the Melbourne Convention Centre and will soon be on sale in the Southern Highlands.

Local car dealers are gearing up for the effect the newest car will have on the local market.

Despite the cost and reasonably high rate of fuel consumption, Moss Vale Motor Group's dealer principal Graham Meredith believes the new series is everything it is cracked up to be and should sell well.
