Health system fails blind Bowral man

24 Aug, 2006 04:37 PM
John Millword is a man abandoned by the health system. Blind and diabetic, Mr Millword needs regular injections of insulin to survive but none of the health departments seem willing to even drop off his medication.

"It's really just ridiculous," she said.

"We've just been palmed off from one department to the next, one phone number to the next phone number. We're both so fed up with the system, he's said to me 'stuff the system, I'll just lay here and die'."
