Group to encompass 'the best part of the British motor industry'

28 Jan, 2004 03:17 PM
Got an interest in British or European cars dating from the 1960s or earlier?

Then Fitzroy Falls resident Martin Frosh wants to hear from you.

Martin, a man who has owned many British marques, is keen to discuss the formation of a group where the members have an interest in British and European cars dating from about 1965 and earlier.

"It would encompass the best part of the British motor industry, which is now defunct," Martin said of the proposed group.

"I believe there are large number of these types of cars in the Southern Highlands.

"The idea is to find out if the owners of cars that fit this definition are interested in forming an informal club or association – a group of like-minded car owners."

Martin is looking for an initial show of interest of people who own a British car dating up to the mid-1960s. If there is enough initial interest, he plans to hold a meeting to discuss the prospect further.
