Mittagong Pharmacy assistant manager Jenny Bolton has been known to detour on her way home to work to drop off prescription for customers.
"The other pharmacy staff say I treat the customers as if they were family," Mrs Bolton said.
That level of customer service from Mrs Bolton and her colleagues helped Mittagong Pharmacy to win three awards at the Southern Highlands Business Awards on Friday night, including the prestigious Business of the Year title.
Mittagong Pharmacy was chosen as Business of the Year from more than 120 contenders, all nominated by customers and clients. The pharmacy was also named best retail business and best established business.
The 12-member judging panel said they were "overwhelmed" by the Mittagong Pharmacy’s commitment to providing an exceptional level of customer service.
