Sir,
Joanna Gash must have held two meetings in Bundanoon last Saturday because the report on the front page of Monday's paper bears no resemblance to the one that I attended.
At the meeting I was at, Joanna not only did not substantiate the Howard's Government's reasons for supporting the invasion of Iraq, but she was evasive, at times belligerent, and querulous when she was not believed by popular acclaim.
The great majority of the speakers were vehemently opposed to the Government's stance on Iraq.
The meeting has increased my resolve to oppose this invasion by any legitimate means.
If your reporter and I had attended the same meeting, then I would appreciate it if your paper published a factual account of the proceedings, and did not use it as a political platform for Joanna Gash.
