Moss Vale's Leighton Gardens is one step closer to a new look with the final design plans being approved by the Moss Vale Masterplan committee.
Committee chairman Cr Duncan Gair said the plans would change the feel of the town.
"We now have the final designs in and I'd like to think we'll have everything ready by September," he said.
"The land there is virtually unused and when (the project ) is complete we'll have a better looking centre of town that complements the area's heritage buildings and scenery."
