A 35-year-old man has been charged with setting fire to the Moss Vale house in which he and his seven children were living.
Noel Michael Robertson, formerly of Simon Place, Moss Vale, appeared before Picton Court on Wednesday morning charged with maliciously destroying property by fire.
Robertson did not enter a plea and was remanded in custody to Moss Vale Court on November 21.
Robertson and his seven children fled the burning rented home in the early hours of Wednesday, September 20.
