Fatal crash probed

27 Jun, 2007 09:36 AM
Investigations are continuing into the cause of the car crash that claimed the life of Jackson Steele on Saturday morning.

Mr Steele was driving south on Bowral Road in Mittagong, when it is believed his car hit black ice and he lost control of the car.

He hit a brick retaining wall and died on the scene.

A spring has formed underneath the road, which is the responsibility of the Roads and Traffic Authority. Water has been pouring out of the spring since February.

An RTA spokesperson said they were working on a solution to the spring.
