With just a month until Christmas Day, the Moss Vale Chamber of Commerce is saying no to bah-humbugs and encouraging all local businesses to embrace the Christmas spirit by dressing their windows in time for Santa coming to town.

"We've encouraged all the retail outlets in Moss Vale to dress their windows, get into the Christmas spirit and to encourage people to shop in Moss Vale," Elayne Skipworth of Tammy's boutique said.

Ms Skipworth said the Chamber had been running a window display competition for the past few years.

The competition helped to "make the town look nice at Christmas", she said.
