Disadvantaged find new Highlands home

A centre for young people who are chronically homeless, drug dependent and recovering from abuse opened in the Southern Highlands this week.

Member for Hume Alby Schultz officially opened the Youth Off The Streets Matthew Hogan School Multipurpose Hall in Canyonleigh on Monday.

Youth Off The Streets, a not-for-profit community organisation, supports young people as they work to turn their lives around and overcome personal traumas such as neglect and physical, psychological and emotional abuse.
