Deputy Mayor Nick Campbell-Jones has slammed State Government bodies and agencies for delaying major projects in Wingecarribee Shire.
Wingecarribee Shire Council last week deferred approval of the Highlands Homemakers Centre, a bulky goods retail development near Highlands Marketplace at Mittagong, to address requirements of government agencies.
Council is also waiting for reports from the Sydney Catchment Authority (SCA) and Road Traffic Authority (RTA) before making a decision on the Victoria Place development at the northern entrance to Bowral.
