 Damage bill rises

Damage bill rises

20 Apr, 2007 12:04 PM
Camden Local Area Command crime manager Detective Inspector Paul Albury said malicious damage was an issue across the command, with Picton having a bigger problem than Bowral.

"The Camden LAC is in the top 10 in regards to malicious damage across the 80 LACs in the state," he said.

"There is more than just one reason for it."

Detective Inspector Albury said police needed to work with council, licensed premises and the community to combat the problem.

He said the rise in malicious damage was negligible when compared to the increase in population in the same time.
