The Southern Highlands is safer than it was two years ago with most major crime rates falling, according to crime statistics released on Wednesday.
Conducted by the NSW Bureau of Crime Statistics and Research (BOSCAR), the statistics have revealed crime rates have fallen or remained stable in all 17 major crime categories across the state.
Motor thefts in the Southern Highlands have dropped by 11.3 per cent and break and enters dropped by a significant 15 per cent.
