Courthouse future still unknown

30 Jan, 2007 05:33 PM
The future of Bowral Courthouse will be discussed at Wingecarribee Shire Council's meeting today.

Wingecarribee Shire Council had expressed interest in buying the Bowral Courthouse in Bendooley Street for use as a gallery, performance venue, workshop space or arts and culture information centre.

But the Department of Attorney General has advised council that the building would have to be acquired at full market value, estimated at up to $1.4 million.
