Cyclists and walkers will be safer on roads after Wingecarribee Shire Council announced it would provide 100 fluorescent safety vests.
The vests are part of council's campaign 'Be Safe Be Seen' which aims to increase the visibility and safety of cyclists and walkers, especially in those areas where footpaths are non-existent.
Road safety officer Kim Davis expressed concern for road users, particularly in foggy or rainy weather.
