Ms Seaton is continuing to speak to local commuters about the plan, which includes boosting infrastructure investment and restoring weekend and night-time services.

"I have been inundated with complaints from local commuters who are sick and tired of being late for work and late for home," Ms Seaton said.

"They are fed up with a decaying rail network that fails to deliver an essential service and a Government that fails to take responsibility.

"Now commuters can express their anger directly to Bob Carr using a dedicated SMS line 0438 DELAYS.

"Bob Carr should be held accountable for his failures, and I encourage everyone to use this SMS service to make their views known.

"The Coalition's 5-Point Plan demonstrates that we have the commitment, the will and the solutions to deliver top-line services."

Ms Seaton said local residents were paying the price for Bob Carr's failure to properly manage the rail system.
