Car crashes into Bowral tennis courts

10 Jul, 2009 01:30 PM
A TEENAGE P-plate driver was taken to Bowral Hospital early Sunday morning after his car crashed into Loseby Park Tennis Courts at Bowral.

Police said the 19-year-old lost control of his car at the corner of Park Road and Loseby Street, mounted the gutter, hit a tree then spun 180 degrees into the pine logging outside the courts before slamming into court 4.

The Mittagong man suffered cuts and grazes. Police are awaiting the results of a blood test to determine if alcohol or drugs played a factor in the crash.
